As reported in Offshore Magazine, the Zhen Hua 30 performed a series of tests to verify its engineered capacity for lifting in both revolving mode and in tieback mode. It is the world's largest self-propelled single boom crane vessel and successfully lifted 13,200 metric tons (or 14,551 tons) during the tests, as confirmed by ABS as well as Chinese and Korean government officials. The vessel will now undergo a further series of tests for DP, FMEA, and mooring system capabilities.
