In a joint effort with ZPMC, OTL plans to bid for Roc Oil's WZ12-8E field development project on an EPCIC basis. OTL intends to convert an existing jackup rig into a drilling and workover-capable production platform to achieve a challenging economic development goal.

The converted MOPU will feature:

ample deck area for production equipment
a high spec drilling system for future drilling and workover
large living quarters to accommodate future drilling and production operational needs
a working jacking system for self-transportation and self-installation capability

OTL sent a team to inspect a candidate jackup rig located near Singapore.
