OTL’s subsidiary in China, OTC has signed a contract with CNOOC to perform a study concerning flow-induced vibration for the subsea jumpers. The study will cover multiple jumper configurations subject to external bottom current flow and high speed high-pressure multi-phase fluid flow. The study is expected to lead to design guidelines for subsea jumper structural design.
