OTL has been working on a offshore wind turbine project with a confidential client. OTL’s scope of work includes the detailed structural strength and fatigue analysis and design of the offshore wind turbine structure for different configurations, covering wind and wave loadings. The analysis and design employ detailed FE method for stress and strain and time domain rain-flow counting method for fatigue damage calculation. The wind farm will eventually be installed offshore China.
