Dr. Ji got his degree in 2003, then started his professional career in a government ship design company, where he spent more than five years working on ship hull design and relevant analyses and model tests. That experience equipped him with a strong background in ship knowledge and a deep understanding of design philosophy in the naval architecture field. In the beginning of 2009, he joined Offshore Dynanmics LLC. As a senior engineer in this offshore ocean engineering company, he mainly focuses on the marine analysis work of floating structures, such as motion analysis, mooring analysis, transport analysis, floatover analysis and other hydrodynamic related analyses.
