Assisted by OTL, the installation of the temporary offshore pipeline by Valkor LLC has been successfully completed offshore Peru.

In Offshore Magazine's October 2015 issue, ZPMC-OTL Marine Contractors Ltd. (ZOMC) was announced as a joint venture pursuing "top-tier offshore T&I projects and decommissioning projects, while providing access to unique niche vessels and engineering for execution of a broad range of complex offshore projects." 

Through our Malaysian subsidiary OTM, we have been invited to participate in the design competition for Shell's Bokor Phase 3 development. OTL will provide its OTRP concept for this competition. 

OffshoreTech China has been awarded a contract to design an offshore wind farm platform structure by Guangzhou Electrical Design Institute. OTC's scope of work includes providing the technical knowledge, configuration development, detailed structural review and design, various electronic design tool development, and engineering training to GEDI personnel. 

On Thursday, August 26 Offshore Magazine hosted a webcast about the decommissioning of the Red Hawk Spar. Headed by Chief Naval Architect Dr. Alex Ran, OTL played a critical role in providing naval architecture engineering to this project.

OTL has been contracted to provide detailed design engineering of the Tekel-A Wellhead Template by client Dragados Offshore Mexico, in conjunction with the on-going detailed design of the Tekel-A deepwater jacket.

For a temporary assignment of three months due to specific project needs, OffshoreTech China has sent two engineerings, Mr. Alan Wang and Mr. Eason Yan, to the global OTL Houston headquarters. 

OTL has been requested to participate in an FLNG Conceptual Design for a confidential client. The awarded scope of work will mostly cover the hull, mooring, and structural portion of the FLNG. 

OTL's fully owned subsidiary in Shenzhen, China, conducted a team building retreat in Qingyuan. The whole company spent three days in a natural setting away from their normal work at the office. 

OTL's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Alex Ran, and Business Development Manager, Mercy Renteria, participated in the 2015 CMP (Congreso Mexicano de Petroleo) and presented a technical paper, "Float-over Topside Installation Using Dynamic Positioning Vessel". 

OTL has started work on the Tekel-A deepwater jacket to be installed in the Gulf of Mexico. 

ZPMC-OTL Marine Contractor will integrate the world-class design and engineering capabilities of OffshoreTech with the marine contracting and vessel operations/management of ZPMC.

OTL was awarded a contract by Petronas and MMC Oil & Gas to study the removal and decommissioning the Sepat EPS. OTL performed the technical feasibility and conceptual design of different decommissioning options, in addition to the installation of a new permanent WHP.

OTL is proud to announce that it has successfully completed a basic and detailed design contract for client CPI and eventual client PEMEX. The project involved two heavy jackets in the PIT field of the Gulf of Mexico.

This month, representatives from OffshoreTech and CNOOC Research Institute in Beijing met on January 26 to have a technical exchange, focusing on the design of deepwater production semi-submersibles, covering global sizing, global performance, mooring, SCR, and structural design.
