Mr. Jin Ling has more than twenty-two years of engineering design and analysis experience, including twelve years of engineering experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.He has an extensive background in areas of design, analysis, and verification with an emphasis on jackets & topsides, floating structures, subsea structures, and other detailed engineering. As a lead structural engineer, he has the managerial and experiences on leading the structural team for various project works. He also has been involved in both conceptual and detail design and analysis for many offshore structures. He is strong in advanced structural analyses for offshore structures such as fatigue, seismic, nonlinear static and dynamic analyses.

Mr. Ling has a solid math and mechanics background and in-depth knowledge of the industry design standards and codes. He developed several in-house engineering calculation tools to design foundations (shallow foundation, gravity anchor, driven pile, suction pile), clamp, VIV check, shell and plate buckling check, and local impact check.
