OTL worked on an offshore wind turbine project with a confidential client

OTL worked on an offshore wind turbine project with a confidential client. OTL’s scope of work included design of the offshore wind turbine supporting structure for different configurations, structural strength, and fatigue analysis, covering wind and wave loadings. The analysis and design employ detailed FE method for stress and buckling, and time domain rain-flow counting method for fatigue damage calculation. The wind farm was installed in South China Sea with water depth of 28 m.
