OffshoreTech LLC has been awarded a contract with PETRONAS through MMC Oil & Gas for the decommissioning study of the Sepat EPS (Early Production System) in offshore Malaysian waters.

The Sepat EPS consists of a set of production wells, a MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit), an FSO, and the flowline conecting the two structures. OTL will study the governmental, organizational, and industrial requirements for decommissioning an offshore oil and gas production system, produce decommissioning procedures and design, specify required equipment and resources, as well as provide scheduling and cost estimates.
